A new Apple store is always newsworthy in these parts of the internet, and a new store in Canada is of particular interest to me since I’m Canadian. Québec City finally has an Apple Store to call their own, and we’re happy for them.
But, that being said, this Apple Store opening video freaked me out a little bit. Having never been to an official Apple Store opening, I might be mistaken, but this isn’t the norm, is it?
Even I would have a hard time mustering up that much excitement for the opening of a retail store, and I’m responsible for naming this site Macgasm. It’s not so much how excited the Apple fans were for the store. It’s more about how the employees made a rock star entrance.
It’s bizarre.

Wow, that was crazy. Was that a Canadiens' hockey game??? I was in Quebec City this past weekend, I regret not being at the mall for the opening. It would have no doubt been a unique experience.
