Apple employee leaks internal memo about MacBook Air display bugs

Internal Apple memos seem to be all the rage this week. An Apple employee might find himself in hot water after releasing a series of pictures depicting internal memos that talk about the new MacBook Air display problems.

The pictures, released by Boy Genius Report, confirm that there’s a horizontal flickering problem as well as a bizarre color problem that occurs when the new MacBook Airs wake from a sleep state.

Both problems, according to Apple, will be fixed with an upcoming software update. Apple doesn’t appear to have an actual solution yet, but they are “working on a solution.” Hopefully this is something that will be included with the 10.6.5 update that everyone’s expecting to be released. The leaked memos were last modified on the 26th and 27th of October, and a lot could have changed since then. Time will tell.

Have you experienced any of these bugs first hand?  We’d love to hear what you think about them in the comments.
