Elements 1.5 now supports smart folders and markdown

Elements, a text editor for your iPad, iPod touch and iPhone, has been updated to version 1.5. The application now includes folders and sub-folders, as well as markdown support. This is pretty huge news. A lot of text editors and note pads on iOS devices lack a folder based organizational structure. Take SimpleNote for example. All of your “notes” are listed chronologically in the application. It makes it quite difficult to manage your documents.

Elements 1.5 adds all the things people have been asking for in a text editor for your iPad. It’s minimal, intuitive, and even syncs with Dropbox.

They’ve really taken criticisms to heart, and managed to address a lot of them in the latest release. The SecondGear Software crew is doing an excellent job. You can download Elements on the App Store for $4.99.
