Civilization V to land on Mac sooner than later?
According to MacRumors, the latest version of the venerable expansion and conquest game Civilization V will be coming to the Mac “very soon — likely in the coming weeks”. If true, this would mark a dramatic improvement over the Mac release of the previous Civilization IV game, which did not arrive until nearly a year after the PC version.

Published by Firaxis, Civilization V is the first in the series to require users to use the Steam service, whether you downloaded the game from the popular online service or purchased a physical disc from a retailer. Also unconfirmed is whether the Mac version will be offered as a SteamPlay title like Civilization IV was, meaning those who purchased the game on PC already won’t have to buy it again to play on their Macs.

The first Civilization game was released nearly 20 years ago, in 1991. Since then the franchise has sold well over 8 million copies, and has been called one of the most addictive games ever.

Most reviwers dont talk about all the buggs, glitches, and crashes people get from this unreliable MP service. But this is a good game if you get past that.
