Try Out Different Web Browsers

I think it is important to always try every web browser available to find what works best for you. People get into a rut with the software they use, and I’m just as guilty of that as any of you. Because of that, I force myself to try out a handful of news things on occasion. Take this moment to download and play with this selection of browsers for your Mac:

Safari

compass Try Out Different Web Browsers“Before Safari, browsers were an afterthought. Something you put up with if you wanted to surf the Internet. One browser looked and felt just like another, so you chose the one that worked the best and crashed the least. They were ugly, cluttered affairs, whose interfaces competed for your attention and made browsing — the very purpose for which they were created — more difficult. Safari changes all that.”

Chrome

app Try Out Different Web Browsers“The web browser is arguably the most important piece of software on your computer. Stainless

Stainless Try Out Different Web Browsers“Although Stainless started out as a technology demo to showcase our own multi-processing architecture in response to Google Chrome, we’ve been inspired by our growing fanbase to forge ahead and craft Stainless into a full-fledged browser. In fact, Stainless now has features you won’t find in Chrome or in any other browser. A prime example is parallel sessions, which allow you to log into a site using different credentials in separate tabs at the same time. This new technology is woven throughout Stainless, from the private cookie storage system, to session-aware bookmarks that remember the session in which they were saved. We’re excited to showcase what we believe is a true browser innovation. Please note that Stainless is still in development and doesn’t yet have all the features you’d find in a production-ready browser. As we work towards a 1.0 release, you can check out what’s new in every update by clicking the version link under the Download button.”
