Apple has released version 1.0.1 of iMovie for iPhone. While this only affects the potential 1.7 million (probably closer to 2 or 2.5 million) iPhone 4 owners, it does fix a few bugs.

The list of ‘fixes’ are as follows:

  • Improved reliability when exporting movies containing photos.
  • Resolved issue with music playback within a project.
  • Additional performance and reliability improvements.

The update addresses, at least for some users, an issue that occurred when exporting a movie and the application would freeze or crash. There is not much additional information from Apple regarding the update.

The update is free for iPhone 4 owners who have purchased iMovie previously. If you want to buy a copy, it will cost you $4.99 and is available in the App Store.
