Rumor: Verizon testing iPad on their network

With only a couple of days left to go until WWDC ’10 gets kicked off, more evidence is starting to roll in that Verizon may finally be getting access to the iPhone and iPad. Boy Genius is reporting that they have evidence that a CDMA-compatible iPad device is being tested by Verizon on their network.

The likelihood of a Verizon based iPad and iPhone seems to be increasing daily as we head down the final stretch towards WWDC. With reports that AT&T have not only decided to drastically increase their cancellation fees, as well as lower their data fees and data packages, it’s hard not to believe these newest rumors.

Clearly, AT&T is bracing for competition in the market, and hopefully consumers will directly reap the benefits.

Would you switch to Verizon if this were the case? What would it take for you to break your contract with AT&T and make the switch?
