dropbox logo Dropbox for the iPadThey refer to their technology as the “magic pocket” (see the video below to understand that definition) – Dropbox is a single secure place for all your stuff while allowing for automatic synchronization across multiple platforms and devices.

Sharing files with others is straightforward; you simply email the person you want to share with from within Dropbox. Within that email is a secure link that points directly to the files within your Dropbox that you want to share.

Now coming from a guy who decided a few months ago to go with Box.net instead of Dropbox, the ease of use and ease of sharing across platforms is a welcomed sign (I’m also loving any iPad specific apps since I’ve completely changed my workflow to revolve around the iPad instead of a MacBook laptop).
