After the confusing (and heart wrenching) announcement yesterday that iPad 3G would not be available (to new pre-orderers) until May 7, Apple today issued a press release clarification. D-day (delivery day) is April 30 for those who pre-ordered their 3G iPads (before April 19). The 3G will also be available in Apple stores on that day.
Apple had consistently indicated that the 3G would be shipped in “late April.” Indeed, April 30 is as “late April” as it gets. Way to hit the deadline, Stevie!
