However, I just found an article (Google "iphone app limit") that says your apps don't actually get removed from your iPhone, nor do you get any errors when trying to add more than 180, the icons for those apps simply don't show up on your app pages. You apparently can still access them from the Spotlight search tool. I haven't tested, though, as I am still just barely under my 180 visible app limit.
