I try not to get into the minute details of why my Mac is better in some situations. It seems that people are easier convinced when they actually get some hands on time with it. We only use Macs at home and I had forgotten quite how crappy Windows can be. The other day, I was invited to a friend's wedding reception. They had a slide show and a "movie." I don't know what Windows applications were used to create the slide show and "movie," but the results were so embarrassing that it was truly painful to watch. The best way to tell people about how good Macs are is just to show them. A 24 inch iMac just blows them away. He used to work for IBM and always derided whatever I said. He called yesterday and told me he bought the 27 inch iMac with everything upgraded, so he could edit his own videos.
