I'm not sure why it hasn't been taken out of beta yet. I understand that the developers pretty much scrapped their previous work to rebuild it from the ground up for SL. I have to say that the current version is one of the most stable and intuitive Twitter clients I've ever used. I completely agree with your assessment of the apps you reviewed though.
