Grant Brunner | Fri, Nov 6, 2009

Every time you launch Safari, it needs to display something in the window. Even if it is just a blank page, the decision has to be made. On the upside, you get to make the decision. Go to the Safari preferences window, and go to the General tab. Now click on the New windows open with drop-down menu, and select what you prefer Safari to display.

Top Sites and Home Page are popular choices, but they’re not the only ones available. If you’d like to be presented with your bookmarks in Cover Flow, choose Bookmarks. If you want multiple websites to load every time you launch a new window, you can select a bookmark folder by clicking Choose tabs folder.
