Sounds about right, Microsoft plans to release Windows 7 on October 22 and Apple’s going to try stealing their thunder with a product update. At least that’s the currently held assumption by some of the tech industries’ top analysts.
It only makes sense right? Apple didn’t blow our doors off at the 09/09/09 event, so that must mean they’re holding off to steal some light from Microsoft. Surely, new MacBooks and iMac hardware would absolutely destroy some operating system announcements.
The Apple Blog seems to think it’s worth announcing, along with every other Apple-related site on the planet, so it must mean there’s some validity to it.
We wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t let you know about the rumor, but we’re not too sure if it’s smart to put a lot of stock in it, that being said, New iMacs and MacBook lines would be hot, hot, hot.
