Get Your Color Information From Around The Desktop With Swatch.

There’s been a number of applications that let you get color information from websites or the desktop for quite some time now. Heck, even OS X ships with a color picker. I’ve got a new favourite, so I thought I’d pass it along.

Swatch

Get Your Color Information From Around The Desktop With Swatch.I think I’m starting to get a crush on the guys over at fuel collective (they did Snippet as well). They really take the concept of a menubar application to a whole new level with these applications. Swatch lets you get a color from any spot around a desktop at the click of a button. It gives you a color wheel and a hex value for each of the colors you select. It’s a fairly simple application on its own, but when you pair it with snippet you get a group of tools that any developer could use.
