So the word on the streets is that in the US we will be seeing the official TomTom GPS Navigation app first thing in the morning! It is already available in Australia and New Zealand. The TomTom app has been one of the most anticipated apps for a while. When the app store was first introduced with the GPS capable 3G iPhone, TomTom said they would be making an app. But that was cut short when apple blocked out Turn by Turn navigation apps. Sadly though it is looking like the TomTom app is going to be close to $100 USD. I personally think that is a huge mistake, I would gladly pay $20 for it, But when the TomTom iPhone accessories kit is available it is rumored to be about $150 USD. Only time will tell. But be on the edge of your seat and ready to get the Official TomTom iPhone app first thing.
Update: The app is now in the US Store for $99 USD!

Beautifully done and seems to work perfectly so far. It is fast and easily programmed. I keep finding new features that I did not know it had. The screem is bright and easy to read. This is my third GPS unit and it shows the progress in technology. The price was excellent for the quality of this product. It does everything I wanted except "lane selection mode" (or whatever they call it) but to get that feature the price goes way up. I recommend this product -- so far, so good.

LikeI didn't realise it was already available in the Australian iTunes Store. I just had a look and it's there; $100.
C'mon, TomTom! $250 for the app and the accessory kit... I may as well just get a standalone GPS kit.
The app should be something like $20, and the accessory kit $100. If you buy the kit you get the app included (a coupon code inside the box or something).
I know my way around Sydney well enough to just use the Google Maps; I'm not gonna pay $100 for an that I might use once a month.
Thanks for the update, Corey!

LikeYeah, I think they completely missed an opportunity here. I really hope people don't turn around and jump on the AT&T application.
