A Very Apple Thanksgiving

Grant Brunner | Thu, Nov 27, 2008

It’s the night before Thanksgiving, and everyone is thinking about the delicious food they’ll have waiting for them tomorrow. Before they head to bed, all of the Mac users set an alarm in iCal to wake them up early. They don’t want to miss the parade. They then bundle up for the night, and use Front Row to play soothing seasonal music as they drift to sleep.

Early the next day, the alarm goes off, and everyone climbs out of their warm blankets to make their way to their Macs. They set their EyeTV to record the parade as they start preparing the food. As they begin to amass their cooking supplies, they take out their iPhones, and launch BigOven to find their recipes.

After everything is cooked and laid out on the dining room table, they take a picture with their iPhones, and upload it to their Mobile Me photo albums. Before sitting down to eat, they dock their iPods in their speaker system, and begin to play the same music they fell asleep to the previous night. Everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving feast, and then they are ready for the pinnacle of Thanksgiving: Pumpkin Pie.

Reclining in their comfy chairs, they rewatch the parade streaming from their iMac to their AppleTV. Everyone is content. Everyone is thankful for a very Apple Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.

Pssh… We Americans eat apple pie every day for breakfast lunch and dinner. Also, hamburgers and hotdogs.

Pumpkin pie is for special occasions, yo.
