One of the coolest things about my iPhone was the wall charger that came with it. It had a nice usb plug on one end and two prongs on the other to fit into my electrical sockets. It was another fine example of apple engineering…or so I thought. Now, it’s been deemed that it’s more of an inferno inducing death trap by Apple. Apparently the prongs have a tendency to snap off while in the wall socket, potentially creating a blazing inferno. Not cool.
Apple has recalled the devices in question, and has promised to replace them. You can fill out the replacement form here.
