Apple just removed my ability to be “that guy”

Joshua Schnell | Fri, Sep 5, 2008

Everyone had that family member, extended or immediate, that would walk around asking all the kids to pull their finger. Don’t pretend you didn’t, and more importantly, don’t pretend it still doesn’t cross your mind on occasion.

Well, some third party application developer for the iPhone created a pretty hilarious application that would allow us all to be able to be “that guy” without having to stink up the entire room. Thing is… they pulled it. Limited Utility… not enough people would use it…blah…blah…blah. I guess Apple was just protecting themselves from the wrong end of fart jokes.

Here’s a video of the application at work.

I have not been really thrilled about what Apple has been doing with its App store. Every day we are hearing about another application that has been removed for some stupid reason. Apple needs to lighten up. Some people think toilet humor is funny.

Will Apple approve the $0.99 “1 Am Rich” app that looks almost exactly like “I Am Rich” but is manufactured in China?
