Applications, Mac News

    By: Joshua Schnell

Apple has decided it was in their best interest to grace us with an Aperture update this fine Friday afternoon.  Just what I need, another excuse to sit at my computer all weekend instead of spending time with my friends and family!  Great!

The update is free to all the 2.0 Users out there… thank goodness!  The last thing we need is another “accounting” reason to charge us more money for features that should have been in an application to begin with!

Anyway, here’s a quote from apple.com regarding some of the functionality added to the application

“Aperture 2.1 includes the Apple-developed plug-in, Dodge & Burn, which adds brush-based tools for dodge (lighten), burn (darken), contrast, saturation, sharpen and blur.

Sound like they’re finally opening things up a little.  I can’t wait to see what some of the developers come up with for plugins… fun times!

Well, I'm pretty much addicted to all things Apple, and Twitter. That's probably all you really need to know. If I'm not posting here, I'm probably wasting time on Twitter.
