Sometimes you have absolutely no choice in the matter, and sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and put software on your mac that you really don’t want to–office falls into this category for many people. No matter how much you hate Microsoft, most businesses require many office related file formats for daily business tasks. It sucks, but until the world is completely overtaken by Apple computers I doubt that it will be changing any time soon. Rumor out on the street is that Apple’s store, as well as Amazon have been pretaking orders for the software package. If you need it immediately, and you aren’t the waiting type…go take a number and grab it now.
