Connect 360, and streaming stuff from your mac to your xbox 360

Joshua Schnell | Tue, Dec 11, 2007

I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to get my content from my mac to my tv. Wayne wrote an awesome article about the pluses and minuses of the apple tv and a mac mini setup but I have neither, and I don’t see myself picking one up any time in the near future either.  Well, then a long came connect360, who has put together a nice little app/preference pane that lets you stream all of your media from your Mac to your Xbox360.  Now that’s something I can use. It should be simple to setup and get running.  I’m in the process of putting it together at the moment, and will be commenting on the app a little more in detail on our next macgasm podcast.  If you want to hear my opinion on it, check out our feeds to the right –>

I love using connect360 ever since the 360 now supports xvid. Works wonders.

Good, You’ll be able to comment then on the show, because for some reason I can’t get my xbox live working… it doesn’t help that my cat5 cord is mangled.
