Some golf GPS units even include satellite imagery of every hole. So, along with supplying close distances, good GPS devices can help you with tactic and course administration

Rob, thanks for the compliment about the podcast it means a lot. As for the spat with tuaw, I'm sorry that you feel that way. But, when it comes to friends and family, I'll take their side and defend them at what ever the cost. Intellectual property is a serious thing, and a number of the writers here on this blog put a lot of effort into creating the best articles that they can. When someone else takes that and then reposts it without even a mention of where it came from it leaves me extremely annoyed.

You may see it as unfounded, and you might not agree with me, but from our posting the article late friday night, and posting it to digg, then tuaw posting it in the morning with almost the exact same title, and a very similar format to the body of the article... I'm left to wonder if they got the information from us, and then reposted it. It may not be plagiarism, but I do know that if I did that at my post secondary institution, I would be getting a nice visit from the dean. Now, maybe they didn't, and maybe it is a complete coincidence...I'll never know. I still stand by my right to call them on it, and Mr. Lu gave his opinions on the matter. I'd do it again in a second. I love TUAW and will continue to use that site on a daily basis, but most people I talk to don't believe it was a mere coincidence that the articles title, and opening statements are very similar. On the flip side, a lot of the people I talk to about it also don't see the connection. So, maybe I'm reading into it a bit more than I should, and I really hope that's the case.

I don't really see an issue with me standing up for others on this site, and those associated with this community. I think it's noble, and far to often most people let others walk all over those around them. It's not gonna happen here, and I'll continue to stand up for the writers here any way I can. It has nothing to do with competition. I don't troll those boards, and I don't knock that site ever...I've directed people to their service on numerous occasions both in the podcast and in print, what they do is a great benefit to the community, and I appreciate it. Like I said earlier, I really hope there is no foundation for my arguments and that I am overreacting. I hope this might answer your questions, and concerns.

Joshua, great pocast. I just wanted to leave a comment about your little spat over on TUAW in which you accused them of plagiarism. I had never been to the Macgasm site before, and I just now came over, not knowing you were directly affiliated with it. When I saw your name, I realized that you were actually knocking what you see as your competition, TUAW. I just wanted to let you know how childish that made you seem, and how seeing your name over here now gives me a really negative feeling about Macgasm. That's not the feeling I wanted to have on my first visit. Please keep in mind that what you say reflects upon who you work with, and its really not professional to publicly shit on other sites that are just as important to your visiters; alas, thay're the same visitors.
