Adv. Tips

    By: Joshua Schnell

This is more of a tip for those who are a little more “hardcore” than most mac users, but not “hardcore” enough to use cron from the Terminal (if you have to ask what cron is this tip isn’t for you). Essentially this is a quick front end for scheduling tasks with cron. Cron lets users automate a certain task over and over again. It’s pretty nifty. I’m using it to rsync a number of drives to remote locations, as well as scheduling SuperDuper! to create me some bootable drive backups. It’s pretty straight forward. Just check out their website, and let them fill you in on the particulars.

Well, I'm pretty much addicted to all things Apple, and Twitter. That's probably all you really need to know. If I'm not posting here, I'm probably wasting time on Twitter.
